Our Leadership

The team that leads us

Adam Barton

Lead Pastor

Our lead pastor, Adam settled for ministry after it became clear the NBA wasn’t going to work out. While he claims to have made a three-pointer over Lebron James, ministry is where God has called him. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Wadsworth with their children Trinity, Gideon, and Ezekiel. Adam has a Masters in Church Leadership from Malone University and currently serves as a professor with Grace Bible Church.

Jonathan Swaney

Worship Pastor

Jonathan’s love for music and God come together in his passion to lead worship as our worship pastor. He and his wife, Tera, were called to Wadsworth from Pittsburgh and are unfortunately Steelers fans. Jesus loves Jonathan anyway, and he’ll still go to Heaven. While Jonathan and Tera are young and haven’t started growing their family yet, they do have several really nice guitars.

Scott and Melinda Price

Scott Price

Youth Pastor

Scott has worked in student ministry for… a long time! He has a motor that will not quit which is pretty useful in working with youth. Scott loves his daughter Leesha, son Logan, and his awesome wife Melinda, whose has the challenge of taking care of 3 kids (including Scott). He has a youth ministry degree from Liberty University and a Master’s degree from Moody Bible Institute and is the director of IGNITE Student Outreach Ministry.

Thena Scruggs

Connections Director

Thena is a natural extravert and loves people. She also loves dogs… to the point that she carries dog treats in her purse on the off chance that she runs into one. She’s been in ministry for 11 years. She has a passion for helping people overcome the barriers to connect to church. Thena and her husband Paul have been married 29 years and live in Barberton. They have three adult children and two nearly-perfect grandsons.

Amanda McFarland, her husband Jake, and their triplets

Amanda McFarland

Mosaic Kids Coordinator

Amanda is the GKidz coordinator for Mosaic. While her business skills certainly serve her well, what truly qualifies her for this role are her triplets: Maxim, Mason, and Mackenzie. Amanda, her husband, Jacob, and their children live in Wadsworth.
